Albie Sachs OTASA/LIFE Award
The purpose of the Albie Sachs award is to honour a practitioner or practitioners working in the field of occupational therapy, where a significant contribution is being made in the lives of people with disabilities.
Marie du Toit Award
The Marié du Toit Award for the best undergraduate research project in occupational therapy is an annual award presented by the Vona and Marié du Toit Foundation.
Ruth Watson OTASA Research Grant
This grant aims to foster occupational therapy and occupational science research in South Africa that will enhance the development of occupational therapy in a significant way.
The grant has been made available to support research done by clinicians that is not for degree purposes and which is not necessarily eligible for other research funding. Paid up OTASA members are eligible to apply for this award. Membership throughout the period of the award is required.
Vona du Toit Memorial Award & Lecture
The Vona du Toit award is a very prestigious award for Occupational Therapist who excels in the profession. The object of this memorial lecture is to honour the late Vona du Toit, who was a pioneer in the development of OT, encouraged research and promoted training for the practice of OT. The first lecture was presented in 1976.
